End Valuation of Reservoir Volume

The horizon for the reservoir volume is so far for many reservoirs that it is neccessary to let the solver know how to prioritize the usage of water by having a long term strategy. This is used by setting a value on the water remaining at the end of the simulation period. This can be done in a variety of ways, and the following three modules each solve this problem in different ways.

• End valuation with Benders cuts (Benders module)
• End valuation with EMPS (EMPS module)
• End valuation with EMPS (Target Reservoir Module)
• End valuation, simplified (simple module)
