# Load module

## Setting up the power balance

The load module is responsible for setting up the power balance in the system. While other modules may affect the balance itself by supplying sources and drains of power or editing the balance directly, there will be no power balance without this module.

The base unit in the logical model that this module uses is the area. Each area will have its own power balance. Please see [documentation](lmarea) for area members. 

Each area may have a number of load parts. By calling the method for creating a load part, the load is associated with an area. Each load part is combined when calculating the total contribution to the power balance. Each load part is identified with an id, and relevant [input data](moduleload) must be supplied for each load part.

## Debug information; export power balance coefficients

It's possible to export to the result data the exact coefficients that goes into building the power balance by setting the relevant field in the [run configuration](lmrunconfig).
